What each oil is doing
Sweet almond
The body of the blend. It is the heaviest of the three, and it is what gives the oil enough substance to stay put on a shoulder instead of running off it.
Grapeseed
Thin and light. It cuts the weight of the almond so the mix pours rather than pools, and it is the reason a small pump covers a whole back.
Jojoba
Closest in texture to what skin makes on its own. It is the part that stops the surface going tacky as the oil settles.
Glide
It keeps moving
Pour a little into a warm palm and it spreads immediately — no rubbing it in to get it started. Long strokes run the length of a back without the drag you get from a lotion, and when you stop, the finish is slick rather than sticky. Nothing is left sitting on top of the skin an hour later.
The scent is sweet lemon arriving first, with vanilla sitting under it. It is not sharp and it is not a candle. In a closed room it reads as citrus and cream, and it fades rather than lingering on the sheets.
