A black silicone ball gag on a slim adjustable strap, with a gold D-ring sitting on each side of the ball. The ball is moulded silicone with a matte finish, solid all the way through, with a flat neck on each side formed as part of the same moulding. Each neck is held in a moulded silicone tab that sits on the strap, and the strap closes behind the head with a gold pin buckle and keeper.
How it is built
- Ball: moulded silicone, matte black, solid with no vent holes
- Mounting: a moulded silicone tab on each side, set with small gold eyelets
- D-rings: one gold D-ring in each tab, sitting just outside the ball
- Strap: slim black PU leather band, smooth face, sealed edges with no stitching
- Hardware: gold-tone throughout — pin buckle, keeper, two D-rings and a pair of domed studs beside the buckle
- Adjustment: a row of punched holes along one arm of the strap
- One size. Black strap with gold hardware
Fit
The strap has no stretch, so the hole you buckle is the fit for the whole session. Fasten it, then slide a finger between the strap and the cheek — if it will not go in, open it out a hole. Try it on sitting up with the lights on before it is ever part of a scene, and find out how your jaw actually feels with it in.
What the D-rings are for
The ring on each side is a clip point. A lead, a tether or the clip from a collar will take it, and it gives you somewhere to attach that is not the buckle itself. Whatever goes on them has to come off in one movement, and nothing clipped to them should ever be pulling on the head or taking weight.
Using it safely
A gag takes away speech, which is the signal most people rely on. Agree a non-verbal stop signal before anything is fastened — an object held in the hand and dropped, or three taps on a hard surface — and agree out loud that it means stop rather than slow down.
- Never leave a gagged partner alone. Someone stays in the room from buckle to unbuckle.
- Check a finger fits between the strap and the cheek before the session starts.
- Breathing is through the nose only, because the ball is solid. Skip it on a night with a cold, blocked sinuses or heavy allergies.
- If breathing changes at all — faster, noisier or laboured — undo the buckle immediately and ask questions afterwards. Keep a hand near it.
- No alcohol and no drugs. Both dull judgement and the gag reflex, and you need both working.
- Keep sessions short. An aching jaw and drooling are normal, and both are reasons to take it out and come back to it.
Care
Wash the ball in warm water with a little unscented soap, rinse it and let it dry completely. Wipe the strap with a damp cloth rather than soaking it, and dry the buckle and the rings rather than leaving them wet. Let everything air before it goes back in a drawer.

Ball gag / black and gold
A solid silicone ball on an adjustable strap
The whole piece is two parts doing one job. A moulded silicone ball sits between the teeth, and a slim strap buckles behind the head to hold it there. Everything else is the hardware that joins the two, and on this one the hardware is gold.

Build
What it is made of
| Ball | Moulded silicone, matte black, solid through — no vent holes |
|---|---|
| Neck | A flat silicone neck each side, moulded as one piece with the ball |
| Mounting | A moulded silicone tab each side, set with small gold eyelets |
| Strap | Slim black PU leather band, smooth face, sealed edges with no stitching |
| Hardware | Gold-tone — pin buckle, keeper, two D-rings, two domed studs |
| Adjustment | Punched holes along one arm of the strap |
| Colour | Black with gold hardware |

The rings
A clip point on each side
A gold D-ring sits in the tab on either side of the ball, just clear of the mouth. A lead, a tether or the clip off a collar will take it, which gives you somewhere to attach that is not the buckle.
Two rules go with them. Whatever is clipped on has to come off in a single movement, and nothing attached should ever be pulling on the head or taking weight. The rings are there to connect, not to hold anyone in place.

Fit
It adjusts, and it needs to
The strap closes through a gold pin buckle onto a row of punched holes, so the same piece shortens for a smaller head and opens out for a larger one. There is no stretch in it — the fit you buckle is the fit you get, which is exactly why the hole you pick matters more than it looks.
Try it on sitting up, in daylight, before it is ever part of a scene, and find out how your jaw actually feels with it in. Ten seconds of that tells you more than any description.

Using it without anything going wrong
A gag takes away speech, which is the signal most people are relying on. That one fact drives everything below, and none of it is optional.
- Agree a signal that is not a word. Something held in a hand and dropped, or three taps on the nearest hard surface. Agree out loud, beforehand, that it means stop — not slow down.
- Nobody is left alone in it. Not to answer the door, not for a minute. Stay in the room the entire time it is on.
- A finger has to fit underneath. Slide one between the strap and the cheek. If it will not go in, open the buckle a hole and try again.
- Breathing is through the nose only. This ball is solid and does not vent. A cold, blocked sinuses or bad allergies that night means leaving it in the drawer.
- Watch the breathing, not the clock. Faster, noisier or laboured and the buckle comes off straight away. Keep a hand near it so you are never fumbling for it.
- Nothing clipped to the rings takes weight. A lead is for guiding, not pulling. It comes off in one movement or it does not go on.
- Nothing to drink, nothing taken. Alcohol and drugs dull both judgement and the gag reflex, which are the two things that need to be working.
- Short stretches. It makes the jaw ache and it makes you drool. Both are normal and both are reasons to take it out, stretch, and come back to it.
If anything about the breathing changes, undo the buckle first and ask questions afterwards. There is no version of this where waiting is the better call.
Care
Cleaning it between uses
Wash the ball in warm water with a little unscented soap, rinse it and let it dry completely. Wipe the strap down with a damp cloth rather than soaking it, and dry the buckle and the rings rather than leaving them wet. Let the whole thing air before it goes back in a drawer.
Mouth gags are sealed for hygiene. Once the seal is broken this one cannot be returned.
