The top is a wide flat band with no silicone grip strip inside it and no loops for garter clips. On a fuller thigh it stays where it is put; on a slimmer one, and especially under a dress you are moving in, expect to reach down once or twice an hour. If you want them properly anchored, wear them with a garter belt over the band rather than clipped to it.

Care / Four Rules
The shine is the
thing to protect
A wet-look face is a coating, and heat is what kills it. Get that one thing right and everything else follows.
- Wash
Cold, by hand, with a mild detergent. No bleach and no fabric softener.
- Dry
Hang. Never a dryer — heat flattens the gloss and takes the stretch with it.
- Never iron
An iron will melt the coating on contact. There is no low setting that is safe.
- Store
Flat or loosely rolled. A hard fold leaves a dull crease that does not come out.
Rings, nails and rough jewellery scuff a wet-look face where they would slide off a matte knit. Take them off before you pull these on.
